Carlo Ancelotti (AC Milan manager) wants AC Milan to sign Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka from Chelsea. Ancelotti's declarations were reported in the Daily Mirror and published in Goal.

Ancelotti praised the athletic qualities of Anelka and Drogba and would be a great replacement for Cassano. Cassano is not playing at the present time since he underwent heart surgery within the previous month.

The contract between Chelsea FC and Anelka (as well as Drogba) is set to expire at the end of the current Premier League season. Ancelotti thinks that Anelka and Drogba will fit well in AC Milan.

Anzhi Makhachkala is another club that is rumored to be shopping around for Anelka. Suleiman Kerymov (Anzhi Makhachkala owner) has the money and could outspend his counterpart Silvio Berlusconi (AC Milan) for Anelka and Drogba.

It remains to be seen what will transpire in this latest game of transfer rumors.
