Thierry Henry surprised everybody with his only goal for Arsenal against Leeds United in the FA Cup. The goal (as reported by The Telegraph) occurred in the second half of what was going to be a routine match.

Henry received the ball and placed it in the left side of the goal post. Andy Lonergan (Leeds United goalie) was unable to respond to the rapid fire volley of Henry.

The goal symbolized the start of the return of Henry to the familiar grounds at Arsenal. It also proves that he still has a lot of energy in world football.

Henry is currently on loan to Arsenal from the New York Red Bulls (an MLS Team). While it appears that Henry was able to help Arsenal win, there is a reality.

Leeds United is not a part of the Premier League. Arsenal is currently in fifth place with 36 points in the Premier League.

The match itself was an uneven pairing of the two teams. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal can maintain its momentum in the FA Cup.

The only thing that can be said is that Henry is able to come back on top in Arsenal after a long absence.
