Carlos Tevez has been suspended by Manchester City after his refusal to play in the UEFA Champions League match against Bayern Munich. The suspension came in the wake of a telephone conference involving Khaldoon Al-Mubarak (Manchester City Chairman).
The suspension is to last two weeks with Tevez prohibited from an participation in Manchester City matches. The decision is expected to be the beginning of a process of gradually phasing out Tevez from the team before the January Transfer Window.
Jim Boyce (FIFA Vice President) supports Mancini and thinks that Tevez should be expelled from Manchester City. Tevez issued an apology to Manchester City which I personally will NOT accept.
I am reiterating my suggestion that Tevez be banned permanently from football. The only exception would be if Manchester City could send Tevez to FK Tom Tomsk or FC Sibir Novosibirsk in Russia. My reason is that these two teams are well disciplined and can teach Tevez some form of discipline.
It is not for me to decide the fate of Tevez but the sooner this is resolved the better. I invite the readers of The Premier League Insider to see the video of Tevez and decide for themselves.
