The Manchester City won the 2011-2012 Premier League and celebrated in the streets of Manchester. The celebrations were marred by a tasteless placard hoisted by controversial City player Carlos Tevez.
Tevez hoisted a sign that states "RIP Fergie" during the celebrations and the results were a disgrace. Tevez is aware what RIP means which is the acronym for Rest In Peace and directing it at Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is terrible.
Tevez may have apologized for the incident but the damage was done. The terrible thing is that Tevez is allowed to get away with it.
If any other person were to hoist a placard similar to the one hoisted by Tevez, they would be questioned by the police or in jail. Tevez only receives criticism and a reprimand with an apology.
What Tevez needs is a psychiatric examination to determine his personal state. My fear is that Tevez will be allowed to get away with anything.
When Tevez finally explodes, it will be too late. What has been said was how Tevez left a bad taste in the Manchester City celebration and why he should be evaluated by a Psychiatrist.
