Chelsea is willing to sign Cesc Fabregas this summer according to an article by Matt Law of The Telegraph. While it remains to be seen whether Fabregas will sign with The Blue Nation remains to be seen.

Fabregas should sign with Chelsea for the following reasons.

1. Mourinho can use him as a replacement for Frank Lampard who signs with the New York City FC of the MLS. Mourinho can use Fabregas as part of a strong midfield presence in future matches.

2. Fabregas is deemed surplus in a Barcelona club that is undergoing constant change since Tata Martino's departure. Luis Enrique may want to sign someone to replace the Catalan/Spanish player.

3. Fabregas's record according to ESPN-FC is the following for Spain and FC Barcelona. He participated in La Liga and UEFA Champions League matches netting trophies for Barca. During the last 2013/14 season, Fabregas scored 15 goals within 52 matches and assisted 17 times. He substituted 14 times and had 79 shots.

We will continue to monitor on an ongoing basis Fabregas staying with La Liga or returning to The Premier League.
