The Express announced that Jose Mourinho wants Cristiano Ronaldo to accompany him to Chelsea if the former is manager. The idea of Cristiano Ronaldo in Chelsea FC is hazardous to the health of the club.
The idea (in theory) is a great one given Ronaldo's achievements in the 2011-2012 La Liga Season. According to ESPN Soccernet, Ronaldo achieved seven assists, 30 goals, and 166 shots within 25 matches.
The problem lies in the financial reality imposed by UEFA. The second problem lies in the personality of Cristiano Ronaldo.
UEFA announced that it will enforce the Financial Fair Play act on all of the clubs. The association does not rule out sanctions against clubs that go overboard in spending for managers and players.
Mourinho (as well as Ronaldo) may have problems adjusting to this new reality.
Cristiano Ronaldo suffers from an excess superiority complex and maybe a prima donna. The biggest example was during a press conference after Real Madrid played against Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League.
Ronaldo stated (during the press conference) that he is booed for being "rich, handsome, and a great player". Chelsea FC deserves more than just a player who makes comments like that.
If there is any doubt, the following video from You Tube shows the real Ronaldo and the actor who portrays him in the TV3 (Catalonian TV) Comedy "Crackovia".
An invitation is extended to The Premier League Insider readers to enjoy the videos of Cristiano and make comments.
