What was expected to be a victory for Netherlands was a stunning defeat by Denmark. It remains to be seen how the Netherlands can turn this around.
Germany VS Portugal
Mario Gomez deserves points for using his head to score an extraordinary goal in the right side of the net. It remains to be seen if Portugal under Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho can regain its strength.
Pepe should have received a red card for his use of force against one of the German players.
