The Telegraph reported that John Ruddy will be replaced as England's goalkeeper by Jack Butland. The reason is that Ruddy fractured his finger during practice.
The result is that Ruddy will be unable to perform for England during Euro 2012. The next topic of discussion is to find out who is Jack Butland and will this affect England.
Jack Butland is a newcomer to the English National Football team who has played in League Two team of Cheltenham Town. He participated in U-21 matches for England.
Butland played an important role in England's U-17 UEFA European Championship against Liechtenstein in 2010. Butland participated in the U-20 FIFA World Cup in Colombia where he learned to improve as a goalkeeper.
According to The Telegraph, Chris Hughton (who is the manager of Butland) praised the 19 year old's maturity as a goalkeeper. While Hughton praised Butland, others have criticized Butland for being too young.
The idea of criticizing a person for his youth does not help the situation facing England. In fact, England must unite behind its football team in Euro 2012 if it hopes to advance.
The reason is that the future will look bleak for the team if it does not unite. At least with Butland, England may have a big opportunity to either win or at least attempt it with dignity.
