Manchester United was defeated without dignity at Old Trafford by Liverpool. What was once a team that was feared and respected under Sir Alex Ferguson has become a spectacle under David Moyes.
While Steven Gerrard impressed everyone with his goals on the basis of penalty, United proved a disaster. Nemanja Vidic, Robin Van Persie, and Wayne Rooney were unable to withstand the Liverpool onslaught with their disorganized form of playing.
David De Gea conceded the goals and did almost nothing to deflect them. Juan Mata, Patrice Evra, and Marouane Felliani were ineffective in their play while Luis Suarez shined for Liverpool.
Old Trafford appears to be lost under Moyes and the Glazers [like the Anglo-American Capitalists they are] might want to sell United. The team is currently in seventh place in the Premier League table with 48 points.
This includes 14 wins six draws, nine losses, 46 goals scored for, 34 against with a differential of 12. United crashed against Olimpiakos in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League [UCL].
Can Moyes and the team turn itself around this season. Unless it wins every match and scores higher during the second leg of the UCL, it appears doubtful.
What can be done at the present time is to save what remains of the Premier League season and sell off players such as Mata, Vidic, Rooney, and Van Persie. Hernandez should also leave for La Liga teams where there can be more opportunities.
Moyes must leave and permit Old Trafford to reorganize itself with a revamped team of players and a new manager. Those who support Manchester United must unite and present a bid to buy back the Red Devils from the people who have milked it for money.
While these are suggestions and I am open to others, this can be considered the beginning of a discussion on United's immediate future. The Full Time Devils have a You Tube video on possible signings in the future for the team.
