The Daily Mirror published a news story about the possible exchange between Manchester United and Arsenal concerning their players. Under the deal, Manchester United would receive Robin Van Persie and Arsenal FC would receive Javier Chicharito Hernandez.

The conventional logic dictates that Hernandez is no longer needed with the signing of RVP and players such as Wayne Rooney. The time has come to flush the conventional logic of Hernandez going to Arsenal down the drain.

Hernandez will most likely remain with Manchester United unless the club, and/or his managers decide otherwise. If Hernandez and Manchester United decide to part ways, the next destination would not be Arsenal.

The reason is that Hernandez would love to win a trophy from the UEFA Champions League. Arsenal would not have that opportunity taking into account its trophy drought.

What is possible is that Hernandez may land a spot with one of the clubs associated with La Liga BBVA. It remains to be seen how this will play out.

In the meantime, here is a video of Chicharito Hernandez courtesy of La Liga BBVA.
