Tottenham Hotspur

The English team was in sixth place during the previous EPL season and will participate in the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League. This is the first Spurs match under the leadership of Mauricio Pochettino who admitted the level of difficulty in this encounter.

Brad Friedel or Hugo Lloris may be the goalkeepers in this match with the participation of strikers Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado. Paulinho may be one of the midfielders along with Erik Lamela, Etienne Capoue, and Andros Townsend.

Danny Rose may have to step up in the defense which may be weak secondary to the absence of Vlad Chiriches who is sick. It would be a mistake if Benoit Assou-Ekkoto were to play defense taking into account his headbutt incident during the last World Cup.

This is expected to be a tough match with the possibility of a Spur victory although the Sounders may surprise the spectators.
