Sepp Blatter (FIFA President) drew the line on racism and his racism row at the opening of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Executive Committee meeting held at Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. The news was reported and published in the ESPN Soccernet website.

Blatter declared that he started his career with FIFA in Africa and that the racism incident is passed. Blatter also declared that FIFA has no tolerance for racism and he stands by that pledge.

It is great that Blatter is willing to place the racism incident behind him and to continue forward. It is hoped that Blatter learned a lesson about the power of the spoken and written word in the digital age.

While moving forward, it would not be a bad idea if Blatter were to consult with other members of FIFA before each interview. The rest is a wait and see attitude since I am willing (for the time being) to accept his declarations at face value.

The Premier League Insider would like to wish its readers in the USA a Happy Thanksgiving with family and friends.
