The online magazine Goal.com and TV Conglomerate Univision revealed that Sergio [Kun] Aguero will replace Carlos Tevez at Manchester City. According to his Twitter account and reported in Goal.com, he has just arrived at Manchester and is expected to sign with Manchester City for $294M a week.
Manchester City paid Atletico Madrid $57M for Aguero which was $5M less than what the Spanish club asked in its exit clause included in the contract. The Manchester City contract is expected to last five years from the date of its signing.
Aguero will replace Tevez in Manchester City who may be moving to AC Milan. Maradona once said that Aguero has the potential to become a powerful figure in football.
At the same time, Maradona stopped short (in his usual building up and tearing down of people) of praising Aguero. Maradona commented that Aguero will never arrive at the level of Messi.
The comments by Maradona is within the family since Aguero is married to the latter's daughter. Before running off on a tangent, Aguero has accomplished 102 goals with 41 assists within 234 matches between 2006 and 2011 at Atletico Madrid.
Aguero has also replaced Tevez during a match by the Argentine National Football (Soccer) team in 2006. Aguero has played for the Club Atletico Independientes before signing with the Club Atletico Madrid.
The only thing left to say is that The Premier League Insider welcomes Kun Aguero to Manchester City and The Premier League.
