Shinji Kagawa and Manchester United begin a new chapter in their history by uniting via mutual agreement. Manchester United was able to sign Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund after the latter had a spectacular career with the Bundesliga.

Kagawa like Chicharito Hernandez before him are the wave of the future for Manchester United in terms of promotion as well as his record. Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United will be able to promote their club to Asia and Latin America with the hopes of winning new fans there.

The other reason is the record of Kagawa in Japan and Borussia Dortmund. According to the Manchester United webpage,  Kagawa was born in Japan in the year 1989 and started his career with FC Miyagi and Cerezo Osaka.

Kagawa scored 55 goals within 125 appearances during his time with Cerezo Osaka from 2006 to 2010. He signed with Borussia Dortmund in the year 2010 and managed to score 21 goals within 49 matches with the Bundesliga club.

Kagawa has served at times in place of Mario Goetze with great results in the German Cup. He represented his country (Japan) in the 2007 U-20 World Cup in Canada, 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, the Kirin Cup, and the 2011 Asian Cup.

Kagawa will be able to carry out his successful career at Old Trafford after passing his physical examination and receiving his work permit. The Premier League Insider wishes Shinji Kagawa the best with Manchester United.
