England Coach Demands Good Behavior from Squad
According to the Daily Mail with a h/t to Goal, Roy Hodgson who is the coach of the English National Football Team demands that the squad behaves professionally. The consequences could leave the players out of the squad in the future according to Hodgson.
The idea is a good one and should be shared with those who plan on attending the Euro 2012 tournament. It must be remembered that the people going to Euro 2012 should use common sense rules.
The common sense rules would be not accepting baggages at airports from strangers, locking personal belongings such as watches at a safe in a hotel, and avoid being at the wrong place and at the wrong time.
It is advisable to notify family members in your home country about your intinerary and always keep your passport (as well as visa with credit cards) next to your person. Do not do anything to attract attention and avoid excess alcohol.
Do not accept rides from strangers and always stay with the group that you will be traveling with. Please avoid any anti social activities such as hooliganism and avoid areas where there may be hooliganism.
British Foreign Office Warns of Racism in Euro 2012
While there is little expectation of racism in Euro 2012, the British Foreign Office (in an article published in The Daily Mail) warned Africans, Afro-Caribbeans, and Asians who were born in or live in England to exercise cuation when in Euro 2012.
The fear is that the Asians, Africans, and Afro-Caribbeans from Great Britain could be the object of attack in Poland and the Ukraine. The only word of advice is to be careful and to avoid being at the wrong place and wrong time.
If someone attempts to provoke you, ignore the person and keep walking. Please remain at a lighted area in places that are familiar tyo you and your group.
It is also great to take a cell phone or mobile phone with you with the numbers of family, friends, and people who will travel with you to Euro 2012.
REMEMBER TO USE COMMON SENSE AND THE PROBLEMS WILL BE MINIMAL.
