The Tottenham Hotspur is in Group C UEFA Europa League with Asteras, Besiktas, and Partizan. While others say that this is an easy group, nothing should be taken for granted.
A brief and thorough review of the Group is in order to see who will emerge.
The Spurs have a chance of emerging from this stage taking into account their previous experience.
They were previous champions of the event even though the last time was three decades ago. The Spurs built upon this experience with previous experience in UEFA events such as the Champions League.
They have two victories in the current league schedule. The Spurs’ top scorers are Roberto Soldado, Harry Kane, Paulinho, and Andros Townsend.
The three participated in the shutout victory against AEL of Greece. The UEFA ranking scale for the club from White House Lane is 17.
F.K. Partizan of Serbia is 124 with two wins in their recent Europa League matches. They are currently in first place within the Serbian Super League with 12 points.
While they have appeared in UEFA events, they remain without a trophy.
The Turkish team is 69 in the UEFA Ranking Coefficient yet they are in the same area as Partizan.
Asteras is 184 in UEFA yet there are players with potential that could surprise many. The top goal scorers are midfielder Pablo De Blasis, forwards Pablo Mazza and Tasos Bakasetas.
While UEFA has their scales, the possibility of the Spurs and Asteras emerging from their group is big.
