Arsenal is in Group D with Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray, and Anderlecht for the UEFA Champions League [UCL] season. It is a difficult group according to the reporters of Arsenal Fan TV in their You Tube video.
I disagree since The Gunners cannot limit their success especially after winning the FA Cup trophy [their first] in almost a decade last season. Galatasaray and Anderlecht have never won the trophy in spite of participating in the UCL.
Galatasaray is 34 in the UEFA Ranking and have appeared once in the Europa League and Super Cup. They participated 22 times in the UCL without winning and this may be the case.
Anderlecht is 43 in the same rank and automatically qualified for the group stage. Their top scorers are Matias Suarez with two goals within five matches, Alexander Mitrovic 3/5, Youri Telemanna 1/5, Cyriac 1/5, and Frank Acheampong 1/4.
It remains to be seen whether Anderlecht can stun Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal. Dortmund is 12 and their last trophy was nearly two decades ago. The Black and Yellow nearly defeated Bayern Munich in the 2012/13 UCL final only to lose their players to the latter.
In spite of the loss of their players, Dortmund may be in second place after Arsenal. Arsenal being number 10 has Alexis Sanchez in their lineup with 1/2 with Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla as principal players as well.
If The Gunners can maintain discipline and apply precision after defeating Anderlecht and Galatasaray, they may emerge from their Group with Dortmund in second place.
