After surprising the world with their equalizer against Manchester City, relegation bound Sunderland will face Chelsea this Saturday at Stamford Bridge. In a match of two opposite teams, Chelsea will emerge as the winner.

Chelsea is a well organized team in spite of the absence of Romelu Lukaku with Petr Cech as the goalkeeper. The Blue Nation is further strengthened with members such as Demba Ba, Nemanja Matic, Andre Schurrle, and Eden Hazard.

Jose Mourinho managed a comeback for the team when he returned as manager after a period of constant changing of the guard by Chelsea's owner Roman Abramovich. The statistics speak for themselves with a second place position in the 2013/14 Premier League [EPL] tables with 75 points..

The Blue Nation managed 23 wins, six draws, five losses, 66 goals for, and 24 away for a differential of 42. Chelsea is just behind Liverpool in the EPL tables and can make life difficult for the Reds at Anfield if they continue with consistency, tenacity, and discipline.

Fernando Torres may be the only problem at Stamford Bridge secondary to his inconsistency and cautious behavior while on the field. Regardless of the outcome in favor of Chelsea, The Blue Nation cannot rest until the last minute.

There is no reason Sunderland ended in last place of the current EPL tables and does not deserve to be relegated. I watched Sunderland defend itself against a superior Manchester City at their home base at Etihad Stadium.

Connor Wickham managed two goals to tip the match in their favor during the second half of the match. The achievements of Wickham were undone by Goalkeeper Vito Mannone easily conceding a goal to Manchester City when its midfielder Samir Nasri snuck a goal in the net.

While Sunderland proved itself a worthy opponent, Mannone's error places Sunderland directly in relegation. The only thing needed is a formal recognition of this deed when the Black Cats face the Blue Nation.

According to ESPN-FC, the Black Cats are in last place with 26 points that includes six wins, eight draws, and 19 losses. Sunderland has 31 goals for and 56 against for a differential of minus 25.

Unless there are last minute changes which may help the Black Cats, Chelsea will win this a comfortable margin of three points.
