Greece had a fairy tale ending to what must have been a tortuous Euro 2012. Greece and Russia faced each other in Euro 2012.
Russia appeared to have the desire and the confidence to defeat Greece and advance. Giorgos Karagounis had other plans as he scored a goal for Greece.
The goal sent shockwaves throughout the world and surpised Russian including the goalkeeper Malafeev.
